Zhong Jie

Name: Zhong Jie 仲杰 (named by his father before he was born)

Age: Rumored to be 100+
Height: fully grown, 107cm
Species: Gojon (own species)
race: Chinese (from hainan island in China) I like Hainan island okay?

Gender: Male
Personality: When not in hunting mode, Zhong Jie is a mysterious Gojon who tends to keep to himself. He doesn't like contact with any other creatures other than his prey, but will not harm them. Although, that being said, he will socialize in times of need such as when food is scarce or a proper shelter can't be found. He is a vicious killer and will tear up prey mercilessly, unlike some Gojons who prefer not to let their prey suffer so much, and are grateful for their kill.
Appearance: short hair that sticks up straight, fairly small eyes and round, pink lips. (general appearance of Gojons below)

Before I can talk about his history, I need to introduce this species to you.
Gojons
They take the physical appearance of a creature's young and lures it closer before killing them as prey. There are many breeds of Gojons, and many more possible. Their gender told the same way for "normal" creature (since they look that way). They only eat what they look like. For example, Gojons, that are the human breed only eat humans, those that are the dog breed only eat dogs, and so on... They are relatively ignorant to other creatures, and will not hurt them, some even befriend them (depending on the individuals' personality).
Basically, they reproduce like mammals. However, the male leaves the female after mating. When the Gojon is born, it eats his/her mother. They are born about 3/4 the size of their mother and takes 20 years to be fully grown. To make a new breed is pretty easy. Info on reproduction: [link]

Now... On to the history!!
His history is based on...... Singapore!! I actually thought there was no such thing as Singaporean myths, but I was so wrong xD I actually went to look it up, and found so may myths I had been told as a child and completely forgot about them x3

anyway... In the 19th century two fishermen, one Malay, and one Chinese went fishing, but the whether was super stormy and their boat sank. Suddenly, a huge tortoise (which happened to be a female Gojon, tortoise breed) saved them and brought them to an island. The tortoise talked!!! *0* Soon, the Chinese fisherman and the tortoise fell in love. (The malay fisherman stayed at the island too) And out came a human Gojon... which... ate the Tortoise=.= The fishermen were appalled as the Gojon cornered the men (since they were prey） They were really scared and started throwing (smaller sized) tortoises at it (don't ask were they got the tortoises...-.-)thinking that it ate tortoises （since it ate the mum). However, it ignored the tortoises and continues to advance toward the men. Luckily, the managed to escape. From that day the island was named "kusu island" in the memory of the tortoise that saved them (Kusu means "tortoise island in Chinese apparently... but it doesn't seem right to me... kusu sounds more malay... if it's chinese, it should be wu gui dao... )
But wait!! there's more.... There was no prey on the island so he had to travel somewhere So he made a deal with a group of sword fish, carry me, and I will feed you, and they actually carried him all the way to Singapura. Back then, Singapore was still a mere fishing village. Pfft... there are no such thing as wild lions or tiger on our little island, so what do you think Sangnila Utama saw? A Gojon of course! What do you think the Merloin was? Let me tell you a little secret.... Unfortunately, there was no prey on the island that the lion Gojon died quickly. His body rotted, and fell into the sea. There, a huge fish finished up what was left of his body. Big mistake... Something weird happened and he turned into a fish with a lions head!! Back to my story.... The swordfishes demanded their food. Our sneaky little Gojon disappeared into the thick forests on the island. the sword fish were very hungry. They didn't eat for days, hoping to save space for the meal Zhong Jie had promised but never gave them. So, they attacked fishermen. Seeing that this was easy prey for them, they continued to feed on the humans for very long. Zhong Jie was not happy, since the swordfishes were eating his prey. So he, pretending to be a human boy, proposed a solution to build a row of barricade made of banana tree trunks along the affected coast. When the swordfish tried to attack the villagers, their pointed beaks would pierce through the barricade and would be trapped immediately. The plan worked like a charm! The swordfishes were no more! But, the Sultan was super jealous. Fearing his rule would be threatened in the future, he sent his soldiers to kill the Zhong Jie, who they thought was a human. At that time, he was resting on the hill.
The soldiers came with parang knives in their hands. As the Sultan saw blood fly down the hill, he nodded in approval, thinking that his soldiers has successfully killed the boy. However, what no one knew was that the blood belonged to the soldiers, as Zhong Jie enjoyed his feast on that very hill named "Red hill" some time later....
Zhong Jie, was getting hungry as the technology was getting better and better and there were less chance of catching prey, however he had a plan. As the teletubby dolls were a craze, he sat himself at a shop waiting for an unexpecting soul to bring it home. When someone did, he would eat his prey in the middle of the night. But, as the craze died down, he remained hungry again.
So... If you see a lost kid on the roads, be careful... because it just might be a Gojon
